What a tough situation to me

I don't know how to say, but just know that I put myself in a tough situation recently.
Actually, I still think about things between us, but always don't know why.
I know that the timing to give you up may come much more earlier than my idea and my setting,
although I really hesitate that abandon myself on you or not, I know that is what should I do, I have to and I'll do. Just don't want to experience this situation anymore, because it is always very hard and tough to me, to make any decision or any choice, I couldn't handle myself easily, because each one is hard anyway. Maybe that's my problem, coz that was what I ever told u, I do hope that we can look forward in the future not currently, but so sorry about that, I'll fail probably. Not because the feeling is gone, just u let me know that I couldn't see myself in your eyes and mind, even just only a piece of, no... so if I have any decision, just have to say sorry for myself, and also you, because that means I didn't take my responsibility for the words which I told you.
Now I'm trying to calm myself down, but not sure yet what I'll be, just keep thinking.
I never talk to anyone these words; just keep it in my mind.
Don't know why and how, but I know the timing for us is closer and closer, I have no power and
no right to change it, what I can do is seeing and accept all.

“It is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in the big city.” Do you agree or disagree?

In my opinion, I disagree with the statement that it is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city. There are many merits if children grow up in the big city. And now, I will give some reasons and examples to support my opinion.
First of all, children who live in the big city will be more competitive than the children who live in the countryside. People who live in the city are usually busy, and they have to face the realities all the time. Thus, they will be afraid that their children will be less competitive than others. Parents will give the best environments to their children. When children are young, they are forced to learn a lot of things, for instance, piano, English, painting, and so on. Also, children live in the competitive city, they will be competitive too, for the environment can arouse children’s potential. As for the children who live in the countryside, they grow up in the happy environment, and they even do not know how competitive the society is. Thus, I think the children who live in the city will be more competitive than the children who live in the countryside.
Another reason is that it is easier to find a good job in the big city than in the countryside. With respect to the living, people live in the city can find a job easily than in the countryside. City stands for prosperous, so there will be lots of work opportunities. Also, we can find out that most of high- tech companies are usually located in the city. That means we can get the job with high salary in the city than in the countryside. With the higher salary, parents can give their children better learning environment, then children can be more competitive. As children are more competitive, they can find a good job easily in the future. The two things are linked to each other. For this, I think it is better for children to live in the city than in the countryside.
The last but not the least reason is that we can get the information easily in the big city than in the countryside. It is no doubt that we can get information easily if we live in the city than live in the countryside. It is possible that if we get new information in the city, then the information will be carried to the countryside after six months. Also, it is true that because of the high speed of information, people who live in the city can have better medical resources than in the countryside. And medical resource is more important than any other things, because it is related to life! For the information getting problems, I think it is better for children to live in the city than in the countryside.
To sum up, I disagree with the statement that it is better for children to live in the countryside than in the city. Children who live in the city will be more competitive and they can find a job with higher salary and also they can get new information easily. As mentioned above, it is true that there are so many advantages for children to live in the city. And they are all my reasons for supporting my statement.

What I had learned from "Survey on University Education"

Many students in Taiwan think that they do not perform as well as the students a decade ago. And not only the students but also the parents in Taiwan worry about the following issues:
Firstly, Taiwanese students are in danger of losing their competitiveness in the global economy. Secondly, the current university system is inadequate, and lags far behind the rest of the world. However, I have different opinion; I do not think we can shirk the responsibility to government. Maybe it is right to say that our ability are affected by the education reform and the university system, however, a person that performs well or not depends on how hard he/she works, not how well the education reform is or how good the university system is. Moreover, although the world changes fast, we are changing too, aren’t we? Thus, how can we say that we students are lack of competitiveness in the global economy? Also, it is mentioned in the article: maybe professors in the university are responsible to that because they lose passion. However, I do not think so, either. Students who want to stand out in this society must be an active learner. We cannot say that professors should be responsible for our bad performance. That is our own fault, not professors’ or government’s. Why don’t we think about ourselves: Am I an active learner? How hard I work? Do I do my best? I believe that if we can do self-reflection we will not be afraid of lacking of ability, because we do have the ability to compete with all the people in this world.

Chinese culture

In Taiwan, there are so many different cultures. Such as we have to sweep a grave on 4/5, and we have to reunite with their families. However, I think the Chinese New Year is the most important culture in Taiwan.
Source of the Chinese New year, with good grounds, it can be before tracing back to several thousand years to be and abundant and adopt more colorful legends. And the most famous one is the legend of ' the annual beast '. Drama is so cool.

These two days I had been the staff English proficiency competition. There were so many representatives of school. And I saw a lot of fantastic drama in these two days. Every members in the team showed their team spirits and their best when they were on the stage. I enjoyed watching their performance, and I learned a lot from that. Although I was not a member in the drama, I was a staff of this competition. Thus, I thought that I played an important role as well, because I had to control the order and comfort the emotions of the competitors. In fact, I thought that I became more mature after the competition, because I learned a lot from it. For instance, I learned the team spirit, and I learned that how to stay calm when the situation was in a mess! Moreover, I wanted to participate in this kind of competition in the future if I have the chance!

Nowadays, people have less and less children. For raising a child will spend a lot of money, thus, it is common for a family to have only one or two children. And because of that, parents will pay more attention to their children. Then, there are more and more helicopter parents in Taiwan. Parents usually want their children to stand out in the competitive society, so they will pay so much attention to every action their children do. Maybe what they do is their love, but sometimes it is too much. If I were the child, I will be angry at that. For I want to have my own room to do what I want to do. I do not like the feeling of being monitored. Also, if parents involve too much in all the things which are related to their children and prepare all the things for their children, their children will lack of the ability to handle things by themselves. They will rely on their parent all the time, and they will not have the ability of independent thinking. That is because they will think that all the things will be prepared by their parents, and their parents will help them to solve all the things for them. Thus, they cannot handle the problem very well by themselves. In conclusion, it is common for parents to pay attention to their children; however, too much care is not good especially for child, because it will produce bad effect for their children to develop their ability of problem solving.

Personally speaking, I disagree with the statement that students should study only subjects in their majors. There are so many advantages that if students study not only subjects in their majors but also subjects offered by other departments. First of all, students can cultivate their interests by studying different subjects in different departments. Secondly, students can broaden their horizon if students do not study only subjects in their majors. Last but not the least, if students take more courses in different departments, they will be more competitive with others. Now, I am going to use these above-mentioned reasons to explain my position.

First, students can cultivate their interests if they take different courses not only from their own department but also from other departments. Everyone may have lots potential but never be discovered. And when they study not only their majors, they may find out those interests and potential that they never know they really have. As soon as they discover their interests and potential in other subjects from different departments, then it will be very helpful in their learning. According to a research, when people do something he/she is interested in, it will be more efficient than do something that people is not interested in. Thus, I think people can cultivate their interests and enlighten their potential if they study not only subjects in their major.

Second, due to the point of view of society, to broaden our horizon is very important. And I think students can also broaden their horizon by taking more subjects in different departments. Because when you take different subjects you may get more information and more knowledge from those subjects. So, the viewpoint for you to think about things will be more extensive. That means when you think about one thing, and your view will not be limited by those little information you used to have. Moreover, you will make more friends that come from different departments. Thus, you can exchange your ideas from each other than before. Also, you will be more intelligent by taking more subjects in different departments. For the reasons, I think that if students take more subjects in different department can broaden their horizon.

Third, nowadays, it is very hard to find a good job. So, to be more competitive with others is such an important issue. And I think it will make students be more competitive with others if they study not only subjects in their majors but other subjects in other departments. For instance, it is without a doubt that if a boss wants to recruit a new employee and a man who is specialized in different fields will be the first candidate for the job. In addition, if a man who has many specialties can have more opportunities when finding a job. For example, if a man has the language ability and computer ability at the same time, and then he can look for the job which is related to language or which is related to computer. Thus, he has two opportunities when looking for a job. For this purpose, I think if students study not only subjects in their majors will be more competitive with others in the future.

To sum up, I really agree with that students should study subjects not only in their majors but the subjects in different departments. Because there are so many merits for students to take other subjects in other departments, such as, to cultivate their interests, to broaden their horizon, to be more competitive with others and so on.

Friends.

I enjoy watching friends so much. The plots are so funny and the characters are funny as well. Moreover, I think that I can learn a lot of slang or phrases from that. In fact, I want to have this kind of friends thus every time we argue, then, we will recover very soon. Also, I want to have friends, who can communicate with each other, I do not want my friends to hide their feelings because that will hurt our friendship. I do enjoy watching movies and learn the language part from that. I think that will help me to learn faster than the way I just read the book, because movies are more vivid and interesting than book. Moreover, our oral class teacher asked us to act a short part of the scrip for our mid-term. That was so interesting, and all the group members did learn a lot from that! “Friends” is such a good movie, isn’t it?

What a happy day!

I was so happy today because I needn’t go to work today, and I had a date with someone whom I like secretly. We had planned the schedule last week. Today we went shopping in the department store, ate a lot of delicious food, and went to the movies! We went to see “The golden compass”. It was so good because the plot was so exciting. And I loved the bear in that movie. The bear was so strong and also I wanted to have the elfin in the movie. The elfin was the best friend of child, and it went everywhere you went. It would protect you when you were in danger as well. What a cool movie, and I enjoy that very much! After watching the movie, we went to Fridays to have our lunch, the food there was so delicious, and I loved it very much! Today was really a happy day for me, and I hope that the one who went on the date with me would feel happy as well! Besides, I hope that we could have other dates in the future! ^^

abuse children

These days, I have seen a lot of news which were related to abuse children. I have this kind of news very much, because I think those parents are irresponsible. Those parents loved each other, and then they had the baby. However, after arguing or divorce, the children will always be trouble to their parents. More than that, when the parents feel unhappy or angry, they will hit the children instead.
I feel so confused about that, because the children are their love, why can they abuse their own children? The children are their own responsibility, aren’t they? But after discussing this issue with my friends, we figured out couple of possibilities. First of all, maybe every time when he/she sees the children, he/she will think of the other one, then he/she will get angry. So he/she will abuse the children. Last but not the least, maybe the single parent faces the heavy stress of economy, so it is really tough for him/her to raise the children. Then, he/she will think the children are big troubles for him/she.
Although there may be a lot of reasons for parents to abuse their children, I still think that is wrong to do that! Children are always the sweet burden for parents, so if you are not a responsible person, please do not have the children! Or abuse children will be a big problem of the society!

I think I fall in love with you. I will feel nervous if I have no your news, I will feel strange if I don not hear your voice, and I will feel sad if you act carelessly. So I think I like you.
Maybe you know what I am thinking, and maybe you do not have the same feeling like me. I enjoy eating chocolate very much. When I feel unhappy, then black chocolate will become my best friend, because I like the feeling when black chocolate melts among my tongue. And when getting my period, then the sweet chocolate will be my favorite, because the sweet feeling will fill with my mouth. Chocolate makes me calm, and allay my pain. It is so cool, isn’t it? Although chocolate is good to me on the emotion part, it harms my health on the other hand. If I eat too much chocolate, I will gain weight easily. Something wrong.

There is something wrong with my health. Today I went to work as usual, but after sitting on the chair to sigh students’ communication books for a while, I felt sleepy! Then, I could not concentrate on what I was doing. And these days, I did not have the nice sleep condition in the middle of night. So now I decided to go to the doctor. Maybe I was too tired recently, and maybe I felt stressed because mid-term is coming. I do not know why, I just hope that I could recover as soon as possible. Because mid-term is around the corner, and I want to stay health to prepare it!

I have two different part-time jobs.

Now I have two different part-time jobs. One is to be a tutor, and the other is to work in the restaurant.
In fact, I am an emotional girl. I will easily be touched, get angry, and cry. And now, I am changing because of my part-time job. I work in a restaurant, and my previous main duty was a waitress. However, I am learning another position now. My main job is to communicate with customers, I have to know their feelings and serve them. It is not strange to be blamed by the customers if we cannot serve the dishes on time, they will get angry and I have to apologize. Just now, my best friend, Wai-ting, called me. She cried out and told me that her boyfriend wanted to break up with her. I don’t think that I have the right to interrupt their love, but to be a friend; I think I have to comfort her. And after realizing all the details of their problems, I know that how important trust is between lovers. If there is no trust between lovers, there is unnecessary to be together. I do not know what to do now, and I do not know how to comfort her. I feel so sad, and I really hope that she could recover as soon as possible. Inconvenient

It is really inconvenient that have no motorcycle here in Yunlin, because I have a part time job, and without motorcycle, I cannot go anywhere quickly. Instead of riding the motorcycle, I have to ask my friends to take a ride for me or ride the bike myself. I want to have my own motorcycle, but I am afraid that a new one will be stolen easily. So, few weeks ago, I asked my dad and mom for a motorcycle, they suggested me that buy a used motorcycle. I think that was a good idea. But there is still a problem, I have no enough money to buy one, and I do not want to spend my parents’ money. Thus, I think I should try to get used to the inconvenient situation for a while, and as soon as I save enough money, I will buy one myself. It is cool to buy one myself, isn’t it?

Our best friends.

See, what a cute dog! Shhh…he is sleeping now, we cannot talk too loud. I think most of people love dogs. Dogs have been our best friends sine long times ago. They play with us, look after our house when we are out. Some of the dogs are guide dogs. They are in charge of leading the blind people. And some of the dogs are police dogs. They are so courageous, aren’t they? However, there are so many people who like the new and loathe the old, they are so irresponsible! Thus, we can see the abandoned dogs walking on the street. People are so heartless! Dogs are loyal to us, but what do we do on them? Abandon them? We are the smartest animals in this world, I think we have to think about this issue.

Shirk

As time go by, things change so quickly. I still have a lot of things to do. I still have a lot of homework to finish, I still have a lot of school work to study, I still have a lot of goals to reach...
But now, I do not want to do anything, but take a break. I want to go home. I want to go to a place where no one knows me. In fact, I just want to shirk my duty. I do not want to face the fact. It is hard to catch up.

I do not like to skip classes, because if I do so, I have made more effort to make up the lessons I have missed. I want to be quiet.

Sometimes I felt that I talked too much. I just want to stay quiet for a while. But if I stay quiet, my friends will think that I am in bad mood. No, I am not. I just want to be alone, and think my own things. Maybe most of people think that a talktive person will be an easy-going person, however, if someone talks too much in the wrong occasion, he/ she will not be a nice person, isn't it? What is Love?

I still remembered when I was in the senior high school, and my teacher told me that love is the lesson that everyone has to major especially in the college. But with time passing, I am the second grader now. And most of my classmates have boyfriends now, I still stay single. I cannot understand the feeling if lover argue or fall in love insanely. Actually, sometimes I enjoy my own life. I will not worry too much, and I can do what I want to do. But somewhile I feel lonely especially in winter. Whatever, maybe my Mr.Right has not shown up now, and I believe that he will show up some day. I have to wait for him patiently, right?

I should go on a diet.

I have gained a lot of weights recently. I think that was because I did not do much exercise. Thus, I decide to go jogging with my roommate every evening. Also, I will eat less from now on. I want to stay health. Although appearance doesn' t mean everything; however, the first impressino is important, isn' t it?

I am sick.

Yesterday night, I was so happy because I could take a break finally. However, after a long and deep sleep, I caught a cold. Well, I had a sore throat. I can not talk, I can not sing, I can not do a lot of things... And now, I am worried the presentation tomorrow. I think I have to go to the doctor in order to recover as soon as possible.

Learning a new langauge

I learn Japanese this semester. It is kind of difficult, because I have to memorize the 50 sounds. It is not easy, because I did not learn it before. But now I will try my best to learn it, for learning languages is so interesting, and I can communicate with other internationals. Also, I want to go to Japan someday again! I wish that I can use Japanese to talk to them in the future!

Bad mood.

I am in bad mood now, because I suddenlly realize that time goes so fast, and I cannot catch it! I have so many things to do, and I want more time! Please wait for me and give me 28 hours a day, although I know that is impossible.

My part time job.

Thanks for my school sister, because she casted me in a job. That is a real challenge for me to do the job, because my main job is to watch over a five-year-old boy to do his homework. It sounds easy, right? But things did not follow the way, that boy was too nautghty to do the homework, moreover, he shouted to me! Also, when he was in the bad mood, he would do nothing, and he would not say a word. I usuallyt felt overwhelmed at that moment until his mom came up-stairs. I had a great gossip with my co-workers. We talked a lot, and learned a lot from each other. We talked our points of view about future, love, and family. Although we did not totally agree with each other, we still learned a lot from the conversation. I knew that we had to be more considerate and to accept others opinions, because we are from different families, so our values will be different to each other. To sum up, I enjoyed the gossip very much, thank you!

Gabai Grany

I watched a movie yesterday, which was called “Gabai Grany”. And I was touched deeply. In the movie, there is a boy who does not live with his mother but his grandma. And they are so poor, although the boy does not perform very well on his study, his is good at sport! They are not rich, but they are frugal of money. After watching that movie, I feel so shamed, because I went shopping in the department store last weekend, and I did spend a lot of money. From now on, I decide to save my money, eat less and spend less! Now, I want to say sorry to my parents, and I promise I will not do that again. I will use the best of my money, and behave in a mature way. I am sorry, dear dad and mom.
